Two Consecutive Oil Leaks in Two Days

I just found out that there has been a huge explosion in St. Petersburg today. What I find interesting about it is that just yesterday there was a major leak just down the street in Burnaby, BC. A construction crew working on a local road accidentally hit a major pipeline, as reported by Vancouver Sun. The oil splattered several houses in the area, and caused an inconvenience for many drivers that commute on the highway. Luckily by today the oil that spilled into the inlet has been contained and clean up is under way. Hopefully this incident didn’t harm the environment in any major way.

Of course, the diggers are blaming the oil company and the oil company is blaming the diggers.
