BloggingPayPerPost is a place for bloggers to make money. The website offers many opportunities
One of the problems though is that new bloggers will have to wait before starting, because of the “Old Age Blog” requirement. A blog need to have posts for the last 90 days, without a gap of 30 days in it. This discourages new bloggers from trying out the service, and making some quick cash. Some might even give up, because they didn’t make much money in their first month. But I figured out a method of getting around this requirement, and I would like to share it with other people.
What You Need
- A blogging software where you can edit the time of the post. I use WordPress, but Blogger will also work.
- A lot of posts in the past. I usually write around two posts a day, so I had like 50 posts when I tried the method out.
What To Do
I have around 50-60 posts, which should be enough to show that I have interest in blogging, and that I can write quality content. However they were all spread out over a 30 day period, which didn’t help me at all. So what I decided to do, was to spread them out manually over a 90 day period. This was quite easy, because WordPress provided a tool when editing posts to set the time that I wrote the post. It is called “Post Timestamp” and it is located in the bottom-right corner of the window when editing a post. All you have to do is pick a few old articles, and change the timestamp to one or two months back. Do this for around 50% of all your articles, and don’t be afraid to leave a 10-20 day gap between them. The maximum gap you can leave is 30 days, but the smaller it is, the more successful this method will be!
What To Watch Out For
There are a few things you should wacth out for when choosing which posts to send back in time. Failure to do so might jeopardize your chance of being accepted.
- Chronological Order - If any stories depend on stories posted previously, or> are replies to other blogs, they cannot have their time changed. If you “publish” the article before the other stories it depends on, it might confuse your readers and ring an alarm with PayPerPost. Also make sure to leave any posts that talk about recent news as they are.
- New And Popular - If you have any quality articles that you have written recently, leave them be. You want peope that stumble on your blog to see them, so they can decide if they like your blog or not. They will not find them if you change their publication date as 2 two months old. Building traffic is more important than getting accepted by PayPerPost!
This method worked for me, and it should work for you. Feel free to leave any comments about your successes and failures with it.

Great article.. with your back-posting idea, as long as you haven’t submitted your site to spidering or something else, you should be fine. If a search engine spidered you though, you might want to just copy the post to a backdated post and then delete the original which was spidered (due to dates being used in your permalinks).
I think even spidering engines should be OK, I doubt that PPP checks your blog that deep.

From my experience with PPP, it’s quite simple to get past any blog requirements using this method. I think they do a quick, automated check, so they won’t notice.

Great article. I am in the process of getting removing the inactivity of 30 days in the past 90 days with the timestamp option - its a saver.
