Guide for First Years

In the first issue of The Peak, SFU’s student run newspaper, was a comic that I related to. It was about the first year students coming to a university, and many of the stereotypes portrayed in it were familiar to me. Some of my friends even started wearing polos and jeans (which they have never before) the day they got their acceptance letter. Also all the girls I know get lost easily, and not just not knowing where to find the room. They cannot even find the correct building.

This comic strip was created by Hayabusa and is a part of his “The Ouncers” series. He has a great sense of humour, and I look forward to seeing more of his comics in the future editions. Also be sure to check out all the other comics from the first fall ’07 edition of the Peak!
