North American PSP Game Releases – Week Of November 11th

This week is filled with the releases of many great games. The Medal of Honor series is one of the best World War II first-person shooters for the PSP, while the Metal Gear Solid series always stood for great gameplay and an exciting story. For those that like less violent games, Sonic Rivals 2 is comming out. And finally, wrestling fans would be happy to know that Smackdown vs Raw has received another update. It is a great week for PSP gamers, while a bad one for their wallets. 😉

Alien Vs Predator: Requiem
Release: November 13, 2007 (Tuesday)
Genre: SciFi Action
You are an elite, lone Predator with an arsenal of exotic weaponry and equipment at your disposal. Access your advanced technologies with the Predator’s wrist computer including Pred-tech/thermal vision modes and cloaking, to track, stalk and annihilate both humans and Aliens. Both classic and completely new futuristic weapons such as wrist blades, laser trip mines and dual shoulder cannons will you the ability to eradicate all traces of the Alien race.

With co-op multiplayer mode players will be able to team up with friends wirelessly to play as the Predator’s comrades, attempting to withstand hordes of attacking Aliens. To add to the game’s challenging features, an honor point system will evaluate the player’s success based on how closely they adhere to the Predator’s value system. The higher the honor achievement, the more weapon and armor upgrades available to the player.

Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus

In this portable multiplayer experience (a stand-alone “expansion” on the content from the original Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, sold separately), players will enjoy more maps and missions, plus recruit a crew of battle-hardened warriors for combat against real opponents in online arenas.

Sonic Rivals 2
Release: November 13, 2007 (Tuesday)

The sequel to Sonic’s 2D action platformer, exclusively developed for the PSP system, features a revamped rival jostling gameplay system for tighter head-to-head competition. A brand new Battle mode allows two players to jump into six different multiplayer challenges by sharing just one disc using the PSP system’s Wi-Fi function. Rivalry is further improved with upgraded power-ups and range weapons allowing players to attack or defend themselves regardless of their position. Additionally, card trading and collection in Sonic Rivals 2 has also been revamped with 150 more collectable cards enabling player to customize characters with new track suits, unlock PSP backgrounds, and unlock Cup Circuits.
