Portable Scanner For Students

While looking through available opportunities, I found one for a very interesting product that is very useful for any student that lives on campus: the ScanShell 2000N portable scanner. So I decided to write this sponsored post to spread the word about the product.

The ScanShell 2000N portable scanner is, as you probably guessed, a portable scanner. This means that it is very easy to move around, so it is a very useful tool for a student to bring to their university dorm. This way they can use it to scan any notes or other documents that their professor will hand out. Sadly it is limited only to A4 sized or smaller papers, so you can forget about scanning pages from a book. However I believe that you an just leave a stack of pages beside it, and it will automatically pick up the next one. The scanning is quite fast too, as it can do up to 6 pages per minute.

Other than that, the scanner is very powerful. It has a 600×1200 DPI resolution and color output. It connects to your computer via a USB cable, which also powers the scanner. Also thanks to the low power consumption, you can bring it along with your laptop and not worry about brining any extra cables. Also the price, $150, is very good. The ScanShell 2000N is just couple of dollars more expensive than your standard cheap flat bed scanner.

Sadly I have not been able to find any information on Linux compability.
