3.80M33-4 Out Already
Karol Krizka @ January 16, 2008
PSPIt is starting to seem like Sony has made quite a lot of changes to the official Sony 3.80 firmware, because Dark_Alex has already released 4 bugfixes for his custom firmware 3.80M33. The changelog of the two patches (3 and 4) released today is as follows:
- Fixed synchronization issue that plugins check code caused in PSN NP9660 original games (fixes 0×80010013 error)
- Added a couple of libs to the nids resolver.
- Added some internal changes required by incoming 3.80 popsloader plugin.
- galaxy.prx was changed to a new version that is giving problems with slow memory sticks. Reverted back to previous versions. This didn’t only affect decrypted isos running in NP9660 mode.
The good news is that to install the updates, all you have to do is navigate to the System menu of your XMB and select Network Update. After you connect to your wireless access point, just hit the X button several times and you will be running 3.80 M33-4. This is of course after you have installed the 3.80M33 firmware, which you need to install before applying the patch.
